The Coachmakers Arms Pub - About Us...

The Coachmakers Arms Pub is one of the oldest remaining public houses in Wallingford. Acquired by Brakspear's in the 1940's it was formerly owned by another local brewery of the time, Gundry's of Goring on Thames. Currently run by Landlady Roni Dorn, there are two bars with two cosy rooms providing ample seating with a traditional Oxfordshire country pub feel. There is also a beer garden at the rear of the pub, especially enjoyable on the long summer evenings.

Groups and families are welcome at The Coach Makers Arms. Our location close to the River Thames also provides a perfect haven for walkers and amblers taking advantage of some of the tremendous walks the surrounding Oxfordshire countryside has to offer.

We have a number of pub games available, including darts, dominos, cluedo. There is also a modern juke box and quiz machine, a television is now situated in the back bar for Sporting events and The Olympics in 2012.
